Geldof's sister knew the marriage was short-lived
London, Feb 17 (PTI) Pixie Geldof the younger sister of aspiring singer Peaches Geldof said she knew her elder sister's marriage to singer Max Drummey would not last long.
The 18-year-old model and daughter of singer Bob Geldof said she always knew that Peaches' wedding following a whirlwind romance with her former musician husband would surely fail.
"The split is what it is. Everyone knew it was never going to be a lifelong thing. She'll (Peaches) bounce back, she's fine now," Pixie told Closer magazine.
Earlier this month, 19-year-old Peaches and her 24-year-old husband confirmed they are divorcing just six months after they eloped to Las Vegas.
A statement issued on behalf of the couple said, "After much soul-searching we have made the mutual decision to end our marriage and have agreed to go our separate ways." PTI
