Lily Allen's hit song inspired by grandmother

London, Feb 19 (PTI) British singer Lily Allen was inspired by her grandmother's death, to achieve something positive and she credits her as the force behind her hit album,'It's Not Me, It's You'.
Allen believes that the hit record which is at the number 1 spot on UK charts, is a result of the heartache she suffered at losing her grandmother last year, Contactmusic reported.

Allen said, "A lot of people I knew died last year. My grandmother passed away so it was a really tough year. But in the end I got an album out of it. I was able to be creative and achieve something." Allen has silenced her critics with the success of her album, after a year where she was in news for her fashion choices and drug habits. PTI
