SHE’S half Sri Lankan and half-Malaysian and all set to be Bollywood’s next bright flame.
Jacqueline Fernandez, 24, will make her debut in a glamorous remake of the famous Arabian night classic Aladin and The Mystery Of The Lamp.
The former beauty queen will play the role of princess Jasmine, the love interest of Aladin, played by multi-talented heartthrob Riteish Deshmukh.
The film, directed by Sujoy Ghosh will also star Amitabh Bachchan and Sanjay Dutt.
Jacqueline’s father Elroy and her Malaysian mother Kim moved to Bahrain when Sri Lanka was em-broiled in a civil war. She studied in Bahrain and later went to Sydney to study Media Communications.
