John Abraham wishes Dhoni Happy Birthday
Mumbai, July 7: Actor John Abraham, who shares a great rapport with newly-married Indian cricket captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni, wished him on his 29th birthday on Wednesday. “I wish Dhoni a very happy birthday. He is a very good boy and I think he is a great captain, the best captain India has. I wish him all the best,” John told reporters here. John and his girlfriend, actress Bipasha Basu, are close friends of Dhoni, who on Sunday tied the knot with Sakshi Rawat at a very private affair on the outskirts of Dehradun, a day after the couple’s hush-hush engagement.
John denied reports that he and Bipasha are hosting a party for Dhoni and his wife in his penthouse. “No, no party happening at my place here,” he said. John believes that his forthcoming film Aashayein, directed by Nagesh Kukunoor would be a good treat over any big budget film. “Aashayein will release soon and I am very excited about it. From the big budget films, it’s nice that people get to see a small, credible, beautiful Nagesh Kukunoor film.” (IANS)
