London, Feb 16 (PTI) Former reality TV star Jade Goody has reportedly given up on her fight against cancer after being told by the doctors that her disease has become terminal.
The controversial star wants to spend her remaining time with her two children and boyfriend Jack Tweed. She is also planning to get married to Tweed later this week.
Goody said her family had suggested her to go to US for treatment but she had declined, the News of the World said.
"As I listened to them I just kept thinking, 'It's too late for me. My time has run out'. All I want to do now is spend whatever time I have left with Jack and the kids," Goody said.
The actress, who caused a stir by confessing that she may allow her death to be filmed, said, "I've lived in front of the cameras. And maybe I'll die in front of them.
"I know some people don't like what I'm doing but at this point I really don't care what other people think. Now, it's about what I want," she added.
The 27-year-old Goody and 21-year-old Tweed are expected to marry later this week. Singer Elton John has reportedly offered Goody his mansion near Windsor Castle as a possible marriage venue.
"I love Jack with all my heart and I want to be his wife more than anything in the world. And I will be," she told Daily Mail.
Goody, who spent most of her life in public eye, is expected to sell her wedding pictures to a magazine and put the money into a trust fund for her two sons. PTI
