Kareena is not in the favor of embarking into a new life by dumping all the past relationships. She wants Saif to maintain a friendly relationship with his ex-wife Amrita Singh throughout. Though she has not met Amrita personally, Bebo holds a high esteem for her and has been a great admirer of her films from her very childhood days.
Speaking in an interview, she opens her hearts about Amrita, when she was asked if she discussed past relationship, she exclaimed, "Not really. I respect the fact that Saif was married before and has two lovely children. I have been a fan of Amrita Singh. I haven't met her ever but I know her through her films. For me, she'll always have a place of importance in his life because she is Saif Ali Khan's first wife and the mother of his children. And, I've told Saif this. I would want her to have that kind of respect always. This is what my parents have taught me. At the end of the day, it was just a marriage that didn't work out. I have always encouraged Saif to be friends with her because I think that would be great. I guess they will just need time but that's something that they would need to deal with. I will always respect her. As far as any other relationship of Saif is concerned, I don't think they really mattered."
Kareena values every relationship as they are very precious and closely connected to one's nerve.

Saif walks out of ‘Race 2’
Abbas Mustan ‘Race’ has given Saif Ali Khan an ample scope to flaunt his hidden acting talent. The film has given a new dimension to Saif’s character. He rose to fame with this film but now he has refused to sign ‘Race 2’. Abbas Mustan is keen to have their main lead hero Saif Ali Khan on board but he turned down the offer.
Saif was busy with Prakash Jha’s ‘Aarakshan’ and soon after finishing it, he will start his home production project with Homi Adjania. Filmmaker Abbas Mustan has wrapped shooting ‘Players’ in New Zealand and in touch with Saif for his approval.
The actor has two more reasons to walk out of the project. An insider says, "Saif has gone through the entire script and did not find his character exciting enough. It is also believed that the presence of John in `Race 2` has made him uncomfortable".

Saif and Kareena's Love Escape
Saifeena have barely just returned from their vacation to London, New York and Italy and the duo are already planning their next romantic escapade. However, while the previous trip was taken for some much needed rest-and-relaxation, this one will be to celebrate their union. Yes, come August 16th, Saif and Bebo will have completed two years of their romantic relationship. Ironically, it also happens to be Saif Ali Khan's birthday on the same day.
"It'll be two years on that day since Saif and I started dating. The celebrations are going to be extended as the couple begins shooting for Agent Vinod, Saif's second home production, from September 1," she said to a leading publication. The actress is obviously excited for Agent Vinod but complained that beau "Saifu" is far too involved in this flick, "I often lose Saif to lengthy discussions with Sriram Raghavan in the middle of the night. Sometimes at 3 am, Sriram and he are excitedly discussing a scene."
However, the actress also claimed that while the actor will play many roles in his career, at heart he still remains "James Bond." In fact, she also revealed that during their time in England together, the actor would often dress up in a dashing suit and take his leading lady out to dinner. "He likes his martini shaken not stirred. And he'd often woo me exactly like it happens in those Bond flicks," she quickly added before signing off.

Marriage can wait: Kareena
Kareena Kapoor, who has received as many as four awards in just one month, says plans of her marriage to Saif Ali Khan may not happen for at least two years as her career is going great guns.
"It won't happen for the next two years for sure. Am I crazy to get married now when so many wonderful things are happening to my career? Saif himself is ultra-busy trying to set up his production house. Marriage can wait. I'm just happy to have him by my side. I've got the best guy any girl can ever have.
"Right now I'm so busy I don't have time to sleep properly. I haven't even had time to move into my new house," said Kareena.
Overwhelmed after receiving four awards, she said: "Who doesn't like attention, recognition and awards? I've got four awards in a month beginning with the environment award I got from Erin Brockovich, then two youth icon awards from Rotary International and Stardust. And now on Tuesday I was honoured by FICCI, which Yash Chopra gave to me.
"My mother gets exasperated each time I bring home another trophy. Saif wants to know where I'm going to keep all of them. I've set aside a whole enclave for trophies and awards. I love looking at them. One day my children are going to look at them and be proud of me."
Now, after a long time, Kareena will be in Mumbai for a month. "I've a month-long schedule of Rensil (D'Silva's) film coming up in Mumbai."
Saif and Kareena returned home to Mumbai this week from Delhi without completing the shooting for D'Silva's film. "We never expected such crowds. They were everywhere. And it was impossible to shoot," she says, sounding not the least put off. "Those people who love me out there keep me going. I love my fans and awards."
And now Delhi will have to be fudged in the Mumbai schedule of D'Silva's film.
The extent of the surging crowds in Delhi in the key shooting spots like Jama Masjid and Janpath for D'Silva's untitled film was so huge and unmanageable that the unit has returned without shooting the required sequences.
Back in Mumbai after a week of futile shooting, Kareena says: "Everywhere we went there were these huge numbers of people who had come to see Saif and me. They were very sweet, very well-behaved. But unfortunately the number of people in key places like Jama Masjid and Janpath was always too high to shoot properly."
As a result, there was almost no shooting. "We did some shots. But it was impossible to shoot with wide-angle lenses because the crowds were everywhere. We'll now have to recreate some of the Delhi sequences in Mumbai."
Kareena is certainly not unhappy about the attention she got in Delhi. "The people in Delhi were so warm. It just made me realise how much of a responsibility I have towards my audience. At this stage of my career I'd rather take another holiday than do a bad film."

Saif in the fast lane
Saif Ali Khan is a die-hard fan of fast cars. The actor says that fast cars and speed give him a thrill. "I simply love racing and am a die-hard fan of racing cars. I had an amazing experience shooting for 'Tara Rum Pum'. It was all about car racing and I had to drive at over 321 km per hour during the shoot. I had an incredible time doing that."
He adds, "People all over the world are crazy about F1 nowadays. Driving was thrilling. One slight mistake and it could have cost me my life. Thankfully the shoot went off perfectly. It was an extraordinary experience. I wish I could drive cars at that speed often."
The actor was awarded the Best Brand Ambassador Male at the NDTV Profit Car and Bike Awards recently for his association with Chevrolet. On his association with the US automaker he said, "It goes way back when my mother was at the peak of her career and use to drive a Chevrolet Impala many years ago. That was my first exposure to the brand. I feel very proud to be associated with it and I think it has been a mutually beneficial association for both of us."
